Introduction
Have you ever shared a music file, photo or video with another computer user? Do you ever download files from the Internet? Being able to share files with other users is really cool, but unfortunately, file sharing and connection to a network can pose several risks.
- When connected to a file-sharing network, you might unintentionally allow others to copy files you didn't intend to share when connected to a file-sharing network.
- You might download a virus or bit of spyware that makes your computer vulnerable to hackers.
- You might also break the law by downloading material that is copyright protected.
