¿Cómo? ¿Dónde? ¿Cuál?
A todos nos gusta preguntar muchas cosas. A ver si puedes contestar estas preguntas rápidamente.

Hopefully none of those were very challenging for you. You have seen and have been dealing with those question expressions for a long time. ¿Cuál? has some special things to notice about it....

¿Cuál? and ¿qué? can both be used to mean "what". So, when are we going to use each?

¿Cuál clase prefieres tú? La clase de español. ¿Y tú? ¿Cuál prefieres tú?

How do we answer "cuál"? We will use words that point out where things are located, demonstrative adjectives or pronouns. They demonstrate where things are. Look at the demonstrative pronouns below. You have seen the demonstrative adjectives before. The only difference now is that these demonstrative pronouns have an accent mark.

Do you see the pattern?

• These demonstrative pronouns (called so because they point things out) are the same words as the demonstrative adjectives we learned some time ago. The only difference is that these have a written accent mark and we do not rename the noun.
