Lesson 2.04: KompoZer

Follow the steps below to download and install KompoZer on your computer.

1. Download the Windows version of KompoZer.


2. Click the yellow security warning bar that appears at the top of the window and select Download File.
   
   


3. Click on the download at the bottom of your screen. When the dialog box opens, choose Extract All Files.
   
   


4. A dialog box will appear asking for you to choose a destination. Click Browse, choose Desktop, then Extract.
   
   


5. The KompoZer files will begin the extract to the Desktop.
   
   


6. The KompoZer icon will appear in your Desktop folder and on your Desktop as a shortcut.
   
   


7. Double click the KompoZer icon to open it. Choose Run.
   
   
   


8. KompoZer will open with a new blank document.
