Assessment #2

Complete a web diagram that reflects the major cultural events of the 1950s.

  1. Go to MindMup.
  2. Click Insert Root Node in the toolbar to start your diagram. A shape will appear in the center of the page. Type "1950s Cultural Events" inside the shape.
  3. Use the Insert Child Node and Insert Sibling Node buttons to add more shapes to your diagram.
  4. Continue adding shapes until you have 10 elements or icons that are noteworthy from the period. Consider items such as politics, fads, and people when adding your shapes.
  5. Customize the color, text size, font, and other styles in your diagram using the controls in the toolbar.
  6. When you are finished creating your diagram, click File, then Download As, then PDF.
  7. A dialog box will appear. Click Export, then Download.
  8. A PDF file of your map will open in another tab. Use the download button to save the file.
  9. Upload your saved PDF to 9.05 1950s Icons Dropbox.
