Step Eight:
Complete 5.04 Magazine Advertisements Group Discussion. Work together as a group to decide which key Harlem Renaissance figures from the list below your group will create ads for. Each group member must select one key figure. The Discussion Leader should help ensure that everyone selects a different figure.
Advertise a jazz performance for one of the following musicians:- Duke Ellington
- Louis Armstrong
- Billie Holiday
Advertise a variety show for one of the following entertainers:- Bill "Bojangles" Robinson
- Josephine Baker
Advertise a new publication for one of the following writers:- Zora Neale Hurston
- Langston Hughes

Step Ten:
Create a magazine advertisement for the key Harlem Renaissance figure you selected. Information and images for the ad may be found within the lesson or from outside research. If you include information or images from outside sources be sure to include the correct MLA citation information. All information on the ad should be written in your own words and phrases.
Your advertisement must include the following:
1) A creative title
2) A picture or pictures
3) 5-6 sentences that describes the figure's role in the Harlem Renaissance
Create your ad in a Word document or PowerPoint slide and submit it to 5.04 Magazine Ad Dropbox.
