      Option #1: Now that you have an understanding of American Imperialism, does       expansion of a nation represent progress? Why or why not? Use examples from       the lessons.

      Option #2: In the next Unit, you will study the causes, events, and effects of       World War I. Imperialism is noted as one of the main causes of World War I.       Using what you now know about imperialism, compose a paragraph explaining       how it might be a contributing factor to a global war.
