Research of this period provides countless stories of immigrant families and their respective journeys to America. Explore the Ellis Island Immigration Tour website and listen to some of the audio accounts from immigrants. (Note: the accounts are located throughout the tour under the "audio" tab.) After exploring the website, select one of the immigrant accounts and write a 2-paragraph fictional journal entry from that person's perspective. Your entry should include some of the true facts from the account as well as other fictional events that the person was likely to experience during their immigrant journey.
