Presidents of the 1920s
The Republican presidents of the 1920s represented a stark change from the Progressive policies and presidents of the previous decades. While their support of a small government, pro-business agenda allowed the nation’s economy to grow and prosper, the lack of government regulation allowed businesses to make risky investments that would end up hurting the health of the economy.
