Introduction

Essential Questions: Who were the first Americans? How did life change for them after them after the Europeans arrived on the scene?

What is your initial thought when asked, "Who discovered America?"

Of course, the indigenous Americans/Native Americans (or Indians according to Columbus) were already here. So who were they? What was life like for them before and after Columbus and other European explorers arrived on the scene?
