Introduction
What comes to mind when you hear the word waves? Maybe you think of
- the waves rolling onto the sand from the ocean?
- the waves that ripple outward from a rock or pebble thrown into a pond?
- radio waves that let you listen to music in your car?
- x-rays used to see broken bones?
