Introduction

Kultur:Culture Do you know where Germany is on a map? Did you know that the country of Germany is split up into states, just like the United States?

This lesson explores the Geography of Germany and explains the significance of some of its major cities to Germany as a whole.

 

Following successful completion of this lesson, students will be able to: Locate the capital and other major German cities on a map. Locate other countries where German speakers live. Discuss the significance of cities, such as Munich, to Germany. The above objectives correspond with the following Alabama Course of Study: Modern Languages Level I Objectives: 7.
