Introduction

Every day, you hear statements that are called conditional statements. These are statements that tell you that a condition must be met in order for something to take place.

For example, your teacher might say, “If you complete your homework, you will get an A.” Your parents might say, “If you don’t clean your room, then you can’t go to the movies.” Your coach might say, “If we win this game, then we will all go out for pizza.” In this lesson, you will learn more about conditional statements and how to write their converses.
