Introduction

You have learned to talk about your school day, your hobbies, and your weekend activities. It is now time to talk about the things you do when you go home. Do you live in a house or an apartment? Are you responsible for certain chores? Are there things you like to do around the house? In this lesson, you will learn to identify the rooms of the house, common items found in the house, and basic household chores.

Lesson Objectives

Following successful completion of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • recognize and pronounce basic rooms in the house
  • recognize and pronounce basic items in the house
  • recognize and pronounce basic household chores
  • identify the name of the aqueduct that was built to carry water to Nîmes
  • explain how the water could flow through the aqueduct
