Introduction

You have learned to form questions by using the word est-ce que. In this lesson, you will learn a second way to form questions, which is known as inversion. When using inversion, you will reverse the order of the subject and verb.

  • form a question using inversion
  • recognize questions that use inversion
  • identify an additional building located on the grounds of the Palace of Versaillles
