Introduction

To choose, to build, to finish. What do these words have in common? They are all verbs, and in French, just as in English, every sentence must have a verb. You have learned to conjugate regular ER verbs in French. In this lesson, you will learn to conjugate regular IR verbs. You will also learn to describe the verbs by using adverbs. For example - choose quickly, build well, and always finish.

  • conjugate IR verbs.
  • recognize adverbs.
  • use an adverb in a sentence.
  • give two details to describe the grounds surrounding the Palace of Versailles.
