Overview

Some plants in the forests create hazards for forest workers. These plants may include poisonous plants, plants with thorns, briars, or even plants that may become tangled around your feet or ankles. In order to avoid injury or accidents, you must be aware of which plants to be mindful of. By avoiding those plants, you can remain safe while working in the forests, or enjoying one of its many activities.

This lesson will answer several questions you may have about the dangers associated with plants in the forest:

  • What plants should I be mindful of?
  • What are the symptoms I will experience if I am having a reaction of a poisonous plant?
