Introduction
Mary Shelley had great roots: both of her parents were writers and social activists. Her mother fought for women’s rights, but she died shortly after giving birth to Mary. Mary Shelley married Percy Bysshe Shelley, another famous Romantic writer, from whom she undoubtedly learned much. In this lesson, you will be further introduced to Mary Shelley and then introduced to her greatest work, Frankenstein.
