Introduction
Samuel Taylor Coleridge is a foundational figure in the era of British Romanticism (1750 – 1837). He was a friend of William Wordsworth which benefited both of their literary contributions. Coleridge wrote poetry, prose, dramas, and even a publication. He loved to discuss philosophy and even lectured on literature during the last part of his life. In this lesson, you will be introduced to Coleridge and to some of his works.
