Make sure that you have posted your prediction and comments to the 1.07 Beowulf and the Dragon Discussion. Complete the 1.07 Beowulf Conflict Map and submit it to the 1.07 Beowulf Conflict Map Dropbox. Create a comic strip of at least three panels from one of the battles that Beowulf fought. Use your graphic organizer to help. You can use PowerPoint or an online comic creator such as the ReadWriteThink Comic Creator. If you use the ReadWriteThink Comic Creator, you will need to take screenshots and paste them into a Word document when you are finished. When you are finished, save your work and submit to the 1.07 Comic Strip Dropbox. Analyze the video excerpt and the lines from the “Wiglaf the Trusty” and “The Fatal Struggle” from Beowulf's Last Battle. In a well-written paragraph consisting of no less than eight sentences, discuss the final battle of Beowulf’s life. Was Beowulf a true hero till the end or just old and weak? Did Wyrd, or fate, have a role in this last battle? Be sure to cite textual evidence from Beowulf supporting your stance. Submit your Word document to 1.07 The Fatal Struggle Dropbox. |
