Conformity vs. Nonconformity

Your teenage years are a period of self-discovery.

You are learning who you are as people and trying to find your place in the world.

You may believe that you must fit in with others at all cost.

Did you know that studies have shown that your peer group helps shape who you will become later in life?

But, what if everyone was the same?

What would the world be like if everyone had the same IQ, talents, looks, strengths?

When a person conforms to something, he or she is acting in accordance with some specified standard or authority.

Thoreau said, "I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life."
