Introduction

Essential Question: Should society conform to the ways of others or be self-reliant?

U.S.S. Constitution

The ship U.S.S. Constitution was never defeated in battle.

Paul Revere worked on the U.S.S. Constitution by making the copper fixtures that fastened the cannons onto the ship. The ship's nickname, Old Ironsides, is said to have derived when a British shot was fired, and it bounced off the sides. The ship was made of wood.
