Introduction
Every day of our lives is filled with choices including decisions you didn't put much thought into. You chose to get out of bed this morning when the alarm went off even though you may have preferred to stay in bed and get some additional sleep. However, you value your education and came to school. You even logged in to this course and are reading this lesson (Thank You!).
One of the most basic concepts is that our wants and needs are unlimited, but our resources are limited. Examples of limited resources include time there are only so many minutes in a day and money no matter how much we have, we always want more .
This problem unlimited wants and needs, but limited resources will force all of us to make decisions. You may want a Mercedes, but you only have enough money for a used Kia.
This lesson will explore some of the concepts behind decision making and will introduce you to a method of making complex decisions.
