Goals
A goal is another word for a plan. Most successful people and organizations set goals. Some examples:
- An athletic team sets a goal to make the playoffs this season.
- Maria sets a goal to make all As this semester.
- Kylie sets a goal to gain admission to her favorite college.
- Elizabeth sets a goal to save for retirement.
- Shana sets a goal to manage his time better.
- Chrissy sets a goal to volunteer at a homeless shelter when her children are at a mother's day out program.
- Lauryn sets a goal to donate 10% of her income to her church.
Setting goals helps guide your actions. If you've never set goals before, it's best to start slow. There's no need to set a goal of becoming a millionaire by age 20. That's too unrealistic and will only discourage you.
