Introduction

Burns are injuries caused by heat, electricity, radiation, and or chemical acids. When the skin is burned, cells are destroyed, and the body loses an huge supply of fluids.

In this lesson, we will learn the three degrees of burns and how the skin repairs itself.

  • Differentiate between a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burn and the healing process.
