 El Proyecto
You are going to do some research about Argentina in this unit to learn more about this country in South America. There are several parts to the project, so we are going to begin now. These are the items you are going to find out about this country:
- information, geography, location and population of the capital and one other city (including pictures)
- tourist areas around the capital and one other city (including pictures)
- weather/season information about Argentina
- current president and governmental information
- information about Sin Bandera, a popular music group, one of whose members is Argentine
- map of the country
- how you could get there from where you live and how much it would cost you to get there
- what their current economy is like
You will write your project in Spanish, using your own words. Take care not to rely on the aid of a translator of any kind as if you do, it will be very recognizable to your teacher. There may be words that you do not know how to say. You may look up individual words in the dictionary but you should rely on what you have learned in your years of Spanish study to do this.
The project is going to have several deadlines to help you stay focused throughout the unit.

- Segunda fecha indicada: outline of your project--5 puntos
- Tercera fecha indicada: rough draft--5 puntos.
- Cuarta fecha indicada: Proyecto Final--30 puntos
