On occasion, your teacher will ask you to complete activities that are found on the SAS Curriculum Pathways website. This website requires that you create a login to view the resources.
In most cases, you will submit any completed work from the SAS Curriculum Pathways site to the specified Dropbox. Be certain to follow the submission directions presented in the lesson or provided by your teacher.
To view the resource within the lesson, click on the link and enter your username and password.
You should be taken directly to the appropriate activity.
Creating a Login
- Go to SAS Curriculum Pathways.
- Under How do you want to sign up?, select Email.
- Fill in the required information.
- Under Email Address, do not use your D2L email address. You cannot receive email from outside of D2L at this email address. Use the email address of your parent or guardian if necessary. You will need to be able to verify your account at this address.
- Your username will be your email address.
- Enter a password. Your password must contain at least one letter and one number.
- Re-enter your password.
- Leave the sign-up code as fbtfl961.
- Under I am a, select Student.
- Under Terms & Conditions, select the appropriate response.
- Click Create my account.
You should now be logged in. From now on, enter your username (the email you signed up with) and password to log in to Curriculum Pathways.
Saving to PDF in Chrome
SAS Curriculum Pathways activities are currently not saving to PDF correctly in the Chrome browser. When submitting assignments that ask you to Save to PDF (rather than using a file provided by ACCESS) you must
- Use an alternate browser to complete the assignment.
- Select Email and email your work to an external email address. Please note that your student D2L email will not work, as it will not accept emails from outside of D2L. You will have to email the work to another account you can access at school or to your facilitator, who can then email your work to youself in D2L.
- You will need to disable the Chrome PDF viewer. To do so, Type "chrome://plugins" in the Chrome address bar. Click Disable under "Chrome PDF Viewer." You may re-enable the Chrome PDF Viewer following the same steps. Please note that you must disable the Chrome browser before saving the file or you will save a blank, unreadable file. Then, save the file to your computer. Double-check that you can open and read the file before closing out of your work.
Depending on your school's local computer security settings, you may need help from your tech coordinator to disable the plugin.
